The Standard Blind uses a manual system with cords to raise and lower the position of the Blind and a metal cleat, fixed to to a wall or window frame, secures the Blind in position.

The Deluxe Blind operates using a sidewinder mechanism with a looped chain to raise and lower the position of the Blind, which means there is no need to secure cords and consequently makes this Blind more suitable for a wider range of window types.
